MANAS Bangla TI Project for Male-to-Male Sexual Health Promotion and HIV Control Programme supported by WBSAPCS (under NACO) invites applications for the following positions. Position: HR & Training Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: Post Graduate/MBA or relevant degree in HR with Excellent communication, interpersonal and crisis management skills at the senior management level. Abilities must include contribution to organizing conferences and workshops, including preparation of background material, handouts etc.
Position: Financial Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: CA/ CA Inter/M.Com/B.Com Hons or any other Post Graduate or Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Financial Management. Experience in computer accounting software Viz. Tally and other related accounting packages, spreadsheets, etc is essential.
Position: STI Mgt Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: MBBS or relevant degree in Medicine. Skin Specialisation and experience in NGO Health Sector are desirable.
Position: Documentation Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: Should be a Graduate or Post Graduate in Social Sciences and allied fields with excellent English skills. Experience in documentation in development sector is essential which include data analysis, compiling and writing reports, supporting M& E, conducting desk research.
Position: BCC Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: Should be Graduate or Post Graduate in Social Sciences or allied fields with good command in Written and Spoken English, Bengali and Preferably Hindi. Should be capable and experienced in facilitating the creation of BCC/IEC Materials for High Risk Behaviours related to marginalised sexualities. Should have skills in Conceptualising & Designing Training Workshops. Command over Designing and experience in Copy Writing will be of added advantage.
Position: Advocacy Officer: Post: 1 (Kolkata). Profile: Should be Graduate or Post Graduate in Social Science or allied fields with good command in English, Bengali and Preferably Hindi, Experience in handling sensitization and advocacy for marginalised communities is essential. S/He should be willing to travel extensively in the districts of West Bengal.
Suitable candidates for all the above mentioned 06 (Six) posts should possess: Knowledge of Sexuality and Sexual Health; At least 3-5 years of work experience; motivation to work on their own; team spirit. Consolidated Salary: Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only)pm.
Position: Zonal Coordinators: Post: 5 (1 for North Bengal, 4 for South Bengal). Profile: Graduate or Post Graduate in Social Science or allied fields and experience in NGO sector preferably with exposure to marginalised sexualities. S/He will be responsible for monitoring and capacity building of the field staff. Consolidated Salary: Rs.8000/- (Rupees Eight thousand only)pm.
Position: MIS Staff: Post: 8 (2 for Kolkata, 1 for Dumdum, 1 for Baruipur, 1 for Bongaon, 1 for Serampore, 1 for Burdwan, 1 for Siliguri). Profile: Graduate with Good command over English, Bengali and preferably Hindi. Knowledge in Data Handling, Report Writing and Expenses Handling. Knowledge about Marginalised Sexualities and HIV/AIDS are Desirable. Consolidated Salary: Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) pm.
Position: Laboratory Technician (Part time): Post 1 (Kolkata)
Profile: Diploma (DMLT or DLT) from any recognised institution with experience. Consolidated Salary: Rs.2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred Only)pm.
Position: Laboratory Technician (Part time): Post 1 (Siliguri for 3 Months). Profile: Diploma (DMLT or DLT) from any recognised institution with experience. Consolidated Salary: Rs.2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred Only)pm from September 2006 to November 2006.
